Der Antifaschist Stimme der Deutschen aus Dachau
The manuscript periodical, entitled "Der Antifaschist: Stimme der Deutschen aus Dachau" was published by the Dachau Concentration Camp German Committee in 1945. The main contributor, Oskar Müller, describes the inmates' fears that the Nazis would liquidate the camp prior to the Allies' arrival. The front cover features a drawing of a man sweeping away swastikas with a broom. Oskar Müller (1896-1970) was a German communist arrested as an enemy of the Nazi regime. He was imprisoned at Dachau from 1944-1945 and served as Dachau’s Lagerältester (camp senior) and as the German member of the International Committee of Dachau. After liberation he served as the first Minister of Labor in Hesse.
