Spiegel family collection

Contains documents, photographs and correspondence regarding the experiences of Max and Ida Spiegel and their children Ruth and Alfred, who fled Emden, Germany. Photographs depict the family primarily before the second World War, including images from WWI. The family was able to immigrate to the United States in September 1938.
