Shalom Cholawski (born 1914) was a partisan fighter in German-occupied Poland and the Soviet Union during World War II, and later in life, wrote several historical works about the partisans in Belarus, including "The Jews of Bielorussia during World War II" (1998). Consists of correspondence, articles and drafts related to Cholawsky's research on history of Belorussian Jews during the Holocaust, partisans movement in Belarus, Jewish underground and the Jewish uprising in the ghetto of Nieswicz, including testimonies recorded by residents of the Nieswicz ghetto. Also includes documentations on Holavsky's work as a teacher in the kibbutz ʻEin Hashofet and his activities in United Workers Party (MAPAM), and his testimony at the trial of Adolf Eichmann.
