Imre Winkler collection
Copyright Holder: Ms. Monica Raffai Consists of three photographs of Imre Winkler, circa 1940, while he was part of a Hungarian forced labor batallion. Includes photographs of laborers on a train and walking in the mud. Also includes a handwritten note from Winkler to his wife letting her know that he can't come home, dated January 3, 1944.
