Radio Receiver BC-603-DM
Radio Receiver BC-603-DM werd gebruikt in de Shermantanks vanaf 1940 tot na 1950 The BC-603 was a WWII tank receiver (companion to the BC-604 transmitter). Tuning range was (FM -frequency modulation) 27.0 - 39.0 MHz. It has 10 or 12 presets using large chrome buttons as I recall. The receiver's front end was intentially desensitized to reduce noise. You might be able to pick up amateur radio operators who transmit FM on "10 meters" at around 29.1 MHz. However you will likely have to wait several years before "skip" conditions improve. Presently, we are in the low ebb of an 11-year sunspot cycle with poor long- distance communications on frequencies above 20 MHz or so.
