A group of children walk in the woods at the Ilaniah Children's Village. The Ilaniah Children's Village was an orphanage for children of central and eastern Europeans killed by the Germans. While there, children (age 6-16) recovered from malnutrition, disease and generally returned to normal after terrible stays in German DP camps. the orphanage was supported by JDC with funds from UJA.
