Italian soldiers, bound for Allied Fifth Army front lines with supplies and equipment borne by mules, halt their packtrain in the Fondi area of Western Italy before resuming the journey through a mountains region. In close cooperation with American forces, battelions of the Italian Corps of Liberation have played an important part in the Allied campaign in Italy.
