Allies liberate anti-Fascists in Italy. Anti-Fascist of varied nationalities receive British Eight Army rations after their release from a concentration camp in Southern Italy by advancing Allied troops in the Fall of 1943. They were among 1500 Italians, Germans, French, Yugoslavs, Czechoslovakians, Poles and other who were interned in a barbed wire enclosure until their release by the Allies afte the Germans had been driven from the area.
