America at war. U.S. soldiers operate railroad in Iran to speed war goods to Russia. An American soldier, helping to operate the Iranian Railroad, readies wheel trucks to receive the body of a Diesel locomotive. U.S. made locomotives arrive on ships at Persian Gulf ports and are assembled for service on the American-operated rail line over which they haul war supplies destined for Russia. Tons of U.S. supplies are transported each month to Teheran, capital of Iran, where the Russians take over and send the material on to the Soviet Union.
