U.S. President Truman visits "Sick bay"aboard cruiser taking him to Berlin Conference. U.S. President Harry S. Truman stops to chat with Seaman first class F.S. Szymanski as the president visits the "sick bay"aboard the cruiser U.S.S. Augusta. The ship carried him across the Atlantic en route to the Berlin Conference with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Russia's Premier Josef Stalin. The historic conference began July 16, 1945 in Potsdam, Germany.
