Gunnery exercises - Heavy guns of HNMS "Tromp". The light cruiser, HMNS Tromp, took a leading part in the battle in the Straits of Bali, february 1942, where an attempt was made by a small allied Naval Force to repulse superior Japanese Invasion Fleets. Fall of Java the Tromp co-operated with the Royal Australian Navy, assisting in the numerous strikes on Netherlands East Indies Harbours. NI 286
