Based on official Nazi documents from German, Polish, Israeli, and especially recently-accessible Soviet archives, analyzes the establishment and the technical utilization of gas chambers and crematoria for the implementation of mass murder in Auschwitz-Birkenau. States that the killing with Zyklon B was carried out between December 1941-November 1944. Contrary to evaluations of other researchers of Nazi extermination activities, claims that only 830,000 Jews were deported to Auschwitz, and that 630,000 of them were gassed.
