Cahul Town Hall

On June 14, 1925, the law on unification of the system of administrative management of Romania was adopted, which extended to Bessarabia. The lowest administrative-territorial unit was the commune. It included one or more settlements managed by the town hall. Similar bodies of government were organized in the cities - city halls. Cahul city hall was headed by a mayor. Cahul city hall ceased to exist in 1940, then resumed its activities in 1941-1944, after which it was permanently liquidated
